Planet Earth poetry series in Victoria
On Feb. 27 Susan Gillis and I read at the Planet Earth series that’s run by Wendy Morton in Victoria, at the Black Stilt Coffee House. There was an enthusiastic audience, and the irrepressible Wendy gave away a number of unusual door prizes.
Patrick Friesen and Eve Joseph were kind enough to put me up in their home in Brentwood Bay for a few days. Here’s Eve and me walking through a provincial park on the day of the reading. A little later we had the great pleasure of spending about an hour in the company of P.K. Page, who’s sharper at 92 years than many people ever are.
